Conference Format:
- In addition to the invited talks (above), we will have approximately 12 talks selected from the pool of submitted abstracts. Papers will present theoretical positions on the nature of verb representation (e.g., semantic and conceptual structures, predicate decomposition, argument structure; the nature of events, thematic roles; etc) as well as empirical data gathered using diverse methodologies. Submitted papers represent work from theoretical linguistics, language acquisition, typology, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics (including brain imaging) focusing on major themes guiding research on verb representation and processing.
Publication:
-We are planning to publish a volume with selected papers from the conference. Further details will be available at a later date.
